Takeoff is a wall mirror with a little something extra. Though inspired by airplane cabin windows, Takeoff features something both they and the average hall mirror doesn't: Temporary stowage space.
Designed by Germany-based ID consultancy jüngerkühn (the duo of industrial designers Konrad Jünger and Verena Kühn), Takeoff's sculpted cowl provides enough of a lip at the bottom to stow small items. Round Mirror
The floating mirror conceals both a gentle light source and a USB port, presumably meaning the mirror is hardwired, which I'm not crazy about; but for those willing to do some sheetrock work (or hire someone else to get their hands dirty), the mirror is awfully easy on the eyes.
Takeoff is in production by Italian design brand Kristalia.
Nice. It would be very useful for people who wear spectacles.
